Roadmap by Adedayo Adeyemi Agarau

they say stars are sojourners
so I become a road;

windows hang loose
like street whores.

eyes flashing through
become twinkles in moody street—

I walk my road
searching for you
in the palms of onlookers.
I walk into vain — a house dead of moments —
for stars that trek a road I become.

Adedayo Adeyemi Agarau is a budding Nigerian Poet.
